Senior DevOps Engineer

We're looking for two Senior DevOps Engineers to join a long-term project with one of our clients — a well-established provider of safety solutions for the logistics sector, operating mainly in the US and Canada.

One Senior DevOps Engineer will focus on building and maintaining our core Azure and Kubernetes infrastructure, while the other will work closely with development teams to support application deployment and operational excellence on that platform.

Our client operates in US timezones (EST), but remains flexible in terms of working hours, requiring only 4h overlap for the purpose of business meetings & syncs (max 20:00 Polish time).

• Design and develop cloud (Azure-first) and Kubernetes infrastructures including networking, autoscaling, and disaster recovery
• Collaborate with product development teams to deploy scalable, modular, and maintainable infrastructure
• Ensure reliability, stability, and availability of systems by supporting deployments and troubleshooting
• Implement and develop automation & configuration management through Terraform and Ansible (nice to have)
• Optimize monitoring to detect faults proactively, reduce detection time, and improve repair times
• Provide continuous re-evaluation of stack and infrastructure to maintain performance, availability, and security
• Work with relational (PostgreSQL, MSSQL) and non-relational (MongoDB, Cosmos DB, Elasticsearch) data stores, Kafka
• Support engineering teams in resolving non-incident operational issues
• Implement security, governance, and compliance solutions (secret & identity management, tagging enforcement, policies-as-code)
• Partner with SRE/CloudOps on patching, vulnerability remediation, platform deprecation, and incident readiness
• Vendor/managed-service coordination; support contract renewals with technical input

• Min. 5 years of experience as Cloud, Infrastructure or DevOps Engineer
• Strong experience with Azure & Kubernetes infrastructure management including development of large-scale and distributed systems
• Building reusable and scalable infrastructure components and automation (Infrastructure as Code) via Terraform and Ansible
• Ability to share your knowledge, experiences and opinions on the forum via technology demos / brainstorming sessions
• Linux (Ubuntu, Redhat) & Windows (2019+) administration and troubleshooting skills
• Experience with developing & maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Github Actions)
• Fluent verbal and written skills in English (B2+)
• Familiarity with tools (Copilot studio, Github Copilot Enterprise, SafeGPT) will be a plus
• Basic scripting skills in Bash, Python or Powershell
